Jimmer mania arrives in Phoenix for workout

Jun 13, 2011, 2:48 PM | Updated: 3:51 pm

Jimmer Mania is coming to Phoenix … at least for a couple of days.

Fredette said via Twitter Sunday that he was in the Valley and he wasn’t exactly a fan of the heat (and we’re not talking about LeBron and the crew).

In Phoenix now and its unreal how today isn’t considered that hot of a day, it’s 90 at least. #thisheatiscrazyless than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet Reply

Jimmer is in town to take part in a workout Monday for the Phoenix Suns that includes quite the impressive roster of young talent. He’ll be suiting up and playing against Texas power forward Tristan Thompson, Kansas power forward Marcus Morris, Georgia Tech guard Iman Shumpert and Florida State forward Chris Singleton.

Will any of these guys be the newest Sun come next Thursday? Your guess is as good as ours but we wouldn’t mind a few of the names on that list be available when the No. 13 pick comes around.
