Nash calls re-signing Grant Hill ‘very, very important’

Dec 1, 2011, 9:13 PM | Updated: 9:16 pm

The Suns don’t have a lot of work to do — roster wise,
before the abbreviated NBA season begins later this month.
They do though have one important piece of business to
take care of: re-signing Grant Hill.

“That’s a big issue for me so I hope he’s back,” said
Steve Nash Thursday, the first day players were allowed
back into their team’s facilities.

Hill, who turned 39 two months ago, is a free agent.

“I’m sure he’s going to be highly coveted by a lot of
teams,” Nash continued. The Knicks and Lakers are two such
teams, according to reports.

Added Nash, “Phoenix will have to really make him a great
offer and put him in a position where he can’t say ‘No’ to
coming back.”
