PHOENIX — As the Arizona Diamondbacks try to snap their season-high five-game losing streak, five of their players are working their way back from injuries.

Prior to Monday’s contest with the visiting Milwaukee Brewers, manager Torey Lovullo updated the progress of Randall Delgado, Jake Lamb, Shelby Miller, Robbie Ray and Braden Shipley, saying “everything’s in a very good spot”.

Dealing with a right oblique strain, Ray threw out to 90 feet on Monday and told Lovullo he felt good.

Lamb had five at-bats as a designated hitter on Monday in an extended spring training game, doubling in one of them and saying he generally felt good too.

Lamb gets Tuesday off before joining the Visalia Rawhide in Lancaster later in the week, as he continues to work back from a shoulder issue.

Miller (Tommy John surgery) had a solid bullpen session on Monday and is set to make a start in extended spring training on Thursday, Shipley (right elbow inflammation) threw on Monday and is in line for a bullpen session on Tuesday and Delgado (oblique strain, flexor strain) is going to continue to long toss on Tuesday before getting a bullpen in on Wednesday.
