The Phoenix Suns will be without one of their long-range scoring threats when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies.
Suns small forward T.J. Warren has been ruled out of Sunday’s contest due to back spasms, according to the team.
Warren experienced the spasms during Saturday’s practice and was originally listed as probable for the Grizzlies game.
This season, Warren has averaged 15.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
He’s improved his three-pointing shooting this year, hitting 46.2 percent of his shots, compared to just 29.8 percent last season. He has four games of at least two 3-pointers.
With Warren out of the lineup, there are more minutes to go around for Josh Jackson, Mikal Bridges and Ryan Anderson.
