Former Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock, now a free agent, is seeking a deal close to $80 million, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

Pollock reportedly is looking at the deal over five years. He declined a one-year qualifying offer from the Diamondbacks earlier in November.

The 30-year-old has played seven seasons in the majors, all with Arizona. His best season came in 2015 when he earned his first and only All-Star accolade and won a gold glove award.

Pollock hit a slashline of .257/.316/.484 with the D-backs last season. He hit 21 home runs and 65 RBI over 113 games in what could be his final season with Arizona.

Pollock is seeking a deal that mirrors 32-year-old Lorenzo Cain’s with the Milwaukee Brewers of $80 million over five years.

Jon Paul Morosi of MLB.com reported that the Philadelphia Phillies have shown interest in Pollock, as well as former D-backs pitcher Patrick Corbin, who also declined a qualifying offer from the team to become a free agent.
