Phoenix Suns forward T.J. Warren returned to action Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers, but was ejected in the first half for the second time in his last four games played.

The fourth-year vet out of North Carolina State was placed on a minutes restriction before the game, recovering from an ankle injury. That restriction wouldn’t matter as he only lasted 12 first half minutes before getting tossed.

Warren scored six points and added one rebound and one block in his return, along with two consecutive technical fouls with 1:44 left in the second quarter.

Against the Detroit Pistons on Nov. 25, Warren was ejected in similar fashion picking up two technical fouls before halftime. He mustered 15 minutes in that game, a 118-107 loss, which began an eight-game losing streak the Suns hoped to snap Monday against the Clippers.

Warren’s last game action came during a 115-99 loss to the Clippers on Nov. 28.

He missed the following five games due to the injured ankle.

He was the second leading scorer on the Suns averaging 17.7 points per game and nearly 30 minutes.
