NAU drops to 5-9 in conference play after loss to Portland State
Northern Arizona dropped its fourth straight game of conference play on Thursday night to Portland State.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Holland Woods had 27 points and 10 assists as Portland State got past Northern Arizona 103-94 on Thursday night. Michael Nuga added 22 points for the Vikings, while Sal Nuhu chipped in 20.
Woods also committed seven turnovers. Nuhu also had eight rebounds and six blocks for the Vikings.
Portland State is undefeated (3-0) when scoring at least 100 points this season.
Bernie Andre had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Lumberjacks (7-17, 5-9 Big Sky Conference), who have now lost four consecutive games. Luke Avdalovic tied a season high with 20 points. Cameron Shelton had 15 points.
The Vikings evened the season series against the Lumberjacks with the win. Northern Arizona defeated Portland State 82-75 on Jan. 19. Portland State (10-14, 5-8) matches up against Southern Utah at home on Saturday. Northern Arizona faces Sacramento State on the road on Saturday.
