The 2019 NFL season marks the 100th year of NFL football.

To celebrate the century-old league, the Arizona Cardinals will be hiding 100 customized “NFL 100” footballs across the state as part of their “Surprise and Delight” campaign, the team announced in a press release on Friday.

There will be two disbursements of the footballs, the first being on July 29 and the second on Aug. 2.

Fans can keep the balls once located and can also post pictures of where the ball was found using “#Cardinals100” and “#NFL100” on social media.

Of the 100 hidden footballs, 97 will be standard NFL balls with a painted panel including a club message. The other three will be gold footballs that will reward its discoverers with tickets to the team’s preseason home game against the Oakland Raiders on Aug. 15. One of the gold balls will also award the founder season tickets for this upcoming season.

The Cardinals’ social media accounts will provide hints and a Google map that will display the location of the footballs within 100 feet, which will be visible and outside at various locations such as parks, landmarks, places of business and buildings.

Arizona will be celebrating the 100-year mark with a year-long series of “NFL 100” events, initiatives and programs to honor fans, players and communities.

Founded in 1898 as the Morgan Athletic Club, the Arizona Cardinals stand as the country’s oldest professional football franchise still in existence. Arizona entered the NFL as the Chicago Cardinals upon the league’s inception in 1920, which was called the American Professional Football Association back then. The Cardinals and Chicago Bears were two of only 14 charter members of the league and are the only two original teams that still remain today.
