Since 2011, NFL Network has had a top 100 players list that is based predominantly on the production of the prior season and is voted upon by players around the league.

The 2019 installment includes at least two Arizona Cardinals in wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and cornerback Patrick Peterson following Sunday night’s release of No. 40-31.

Fitzgerald came in at No. 60, while Peterson was ranked No. 46.

This is the 29th time that a Cardinal has been recognized by their fellow teammates and opponents in what is the ninth edition of the list.

The future Hall of Fame wide receiver has made it every year, being ranked as high as No. 7 in 2012, with his lowest being No. 68 in 2015.

Peterson has also made the list every year of his career, coming in as high as No. 18 in 2016 and his lowest at No. 55 in 2012 following his rookie campaign.

Other Cardinals that have made the cut are safeties Adrian Wilson and Tyrann Mathieu, linebacker Daryl Washington, defensive end Calais Campbell, quarterback Carson Palmer, running back David Johnson and outside linebacker Chandler Jones.

Jones has made each of the last three lists, all of which have come as a member of the Cardinals, as the 29-year-old’s highest ranking was No. 28 in 2018, while his lowest was No. 85 in 2017.

With No. 30-1 yet to be revealed, the outside linebacker can still be ranked as a top-30 player of 2019.

The Top 100 Players of 2019 will continue every day in spurts of 10, with the conclusion of the list coming on Wednesday.
