It might be even easier to catch an Arizona Diamondbacks game from the office Wednesday.
Instead of broadcasting on a normal TV channel such as FOX Sports Arizona, the D-backs game against the Colorado Rockies will be broadcast on YouTube as the MLB Game of the Week. The broadcast is free to watch on YouTube through MLB’s YouTube channel and does not require an account.
The 12:40 p.m. first pitch will feature announcer Rich Waltz and MLB Network reporter Alexa Datt.
Rockies and D-backs fans alike will see some familiar names in the booth as well. Former Rockies pitcher Jeremy Affeldt and former D-backs and Rockies outfielder Eric Byrnes will be on the broadcast as well.
Former D-back Luis Gonzalez will also be on the broadcast as part of a chat that will feature content creators and representatives from both teams.
Because its not available anywhere else on TV, the broadcasts are specifically tailored for the YouTube stream.
The broadcast is part of a 13-game agreement for the second half of the season.
