The Arizona Coyotes 2019-20 season is right around the corner.
President of hockey operations and general manager John Chayka announced in a press release Thursday that the team’s rookie camp will start Sept. 5.
Coyotes rookies at the camp will feature first round draft picks Victor Soderstrom (2019), Barrett Hayton (2018) and Nick Merkley (2015).
The camp will also feature top prospects such as Kevin Bahl, Tyler Steenbergen and Nate Schanarr among others.
The camp will feature two days of on-ice practice at Gila River Arena before the rookies head to Anaheim for a rookie tournament.
During the tournament, they’ll play rookies from the San Jose Sharks, Vegas Golden Knights and the Colorado Avalanche.
Rookie camp practices Sept. 5 and 6 are free and open to the public.
