After racking up 110 yards in his Arizona Cardinals debut on Halloween night against the San Francisco 49ers, Kenyan Drake looks to be in line to get the bulk of the carries again for Arizona in the Week 11 rematch.

“Kenyan Drake is expected to be treated as the starter today,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said on NFL Game Day on Sunday morning.

The move, also tweeted out by Rapoport, would relegate David Johnson to a back up role.

While the San Francisco defense ranks second in the NFL in yards per game allowed, they’ve given up a pedestrian 107.8 yards rushing per game.

Even though Johnson has started eight games at running back for the Cardinals this season, he is second on the team in rushing behind quarterback Kyler Murray. In just two games played, Drake is 157 yards behind Johnson and has only one less touchdown.

Johnson, however, ranks third on the team with 323 receiving yards and is tied for the team lead with three receiving touchdowns.

In Week 10 against Tampa Bay, Johnson was benched for the whole fourth quarter in what head coach Kliff Kingsbury referred to as a, “coaches decision.”
