LISTEN: Mike Golic, ESPN NFL analyst

We’ve known for months who the Arizona Cardinals are going to play this season. But, thanks to the NFL schedule release Tuesday, now we know the order. When it comes to the last three weeks of the year, the Cardinals have one of the toughest stretches in the league.

Weeks 15-17, Arizona will play three teams that finished with at least 10 wins last year. First it’s at Philadelphia, then it’s home against Green Bay and Seattle.

Anything can happen in-between, but it’s likely that all three will be high-caliber teams once again. Mike Golic, co-host of ESPN’s Mike and Mike, had just one word to describe that final stretch.

“Wow,” Golic told Doug and Wolf on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Wednesday. “Home is good. Obviously, you figure all those teams are going to be in it to some extent. Wow.”

Last season, the Packers and Seahawks each won 12 regular season games, while the Eagles won 10. With an opponent winning percentage of .708, the Cardinals have the toughest last three games in the league.

Golic said that when the schedule comes out, the first thing players look for is the bye week, then the big games.

“You do look at things like that- where is the tough stretch?” Golic said. “Now the good part of that is the couple of them are at home, so you do have that going for you and like I said, you figure all those teams are going to be in it, but at the end of the day if you’re going to make it, you got to beat those kind of teams.”

Arizona beat Philadelphia in a thriller last year 24-20, but got blown out in both matchups against Seattle, 19-3 and 35-6. The Cardinals haven’t played Green Bay since 2012, when John Skelton led the team into Lambeau Field and lost 31-17.
