A handful of athletes with Arizona ties put in work at the 2020 NFL Combine on Friday.

Arizona State running back Eno Benjamin, punter Michael Turk and offensive lineman Cohl Cabral and Arizona running back J.J. Taylor all participated in some form.

Looking at the group of running backs, Benjamin and Taylor each showed off their skills as runners.

Both Benjamin and Taylor posted 4.57 and 4.61 40-yard dash times, respectively, with Benjamin tying Memphis’ Patrick Taylor for the 14th-best time among running backs.

Benjamin was also a top performer in the vertical jump with a score of 39.0 inches, good enough for fifth among participating running backs. Taylor wasn’t far behind, going 34.5 inches. The duo’s broad jumps weren’t too far off, either, as Benjamin and Taylor posted 122.0 and 118.0 inches, respectively.

Benjamin may have had the upperhand on Taylor for most of the drills, but the Wildcat outdid the Sun Devil in the bench press, completing 19 reps to Benjamin’s 12. Taylor’s total was good enough for 12th among runners.

Participating in just one drill Friday was Cabral. The offensive lineman put up 20 reps during the bench press portion of Friday’s workout. Leading the way was Fresno State’s Netane Muti.

Also partaking in drills this week was Turk, who caught the attention of the nation with his bench press performance.

Putting up 25 total reps, Turk blew away the competition, with Bucknell punter Alex Pechin, the only other participant, with 13 reps. Turk also showed some of his footwork, posting a 4.78 40-yard dash time, good enough for 4th among special teamers. Turk wasn’t done there, either, turning in the top performance in the vertical jump (34.5 inches), and placing fourth in the broad jump (108.0 inches).
