The Phoenix Suns’ strongest run of play yet for this season continued Thursday with a 114-99 win over the Indiana Pacers.

A 17-0 run in the first quarter and a 21-0 run in the third quarter fueled the Suns to the win despite shooting 9-of-34 from three-point range.

Devin Booker was in control of the game offensively throughout, posting 20 points, three rebounds and 10 assists, but the team looked to be in trouble when he picked up his fifth foul in the third quarter.

That’s when that run came, a 23-3 surge in under five minutes that had all those points scored by either Cam Payne (12 of his 15 points) or Dario Saric (11 of his 16).

Deandre Ayton had a great two-way game, finishing with four blocks to go with 23 points, 10 rebounds, an assist and two steals.

Cam Johnson added a double-double in the starting lineup, posting 14 points and 12 rebounds, going a ridiculous plus-36 as someone on the court for a majority of those big Suns scoring runs.

Phoenix is now 4-0 in Orlando, making it the team’s first four-game winning streak since December of 2018.

UP NEXT

The Suns look to make it 5-0 against the Miami Heat on Saturday. Tip off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on ESPN 620 AM.
