Like their win Monday over the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Phoenix Suns will catch another break on the second day of a back-to-back.

The Philadelphia 76ers will face Phoenix on Tuesday without all five of their usual starters. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, as well as starting shooting guard Josh Richardson, were ruled out Monday.

Prior to the game, questionable players Tobias Harris and Al Horford were also listed as out.

The team had already ruled Embiid out of the Suns game due to a left ankle sprain suffered Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Richardson, who scored 34 points to lead Philadelphia on Sunday, will also not play due to rest, reports The Athletic’s Derek Bodner.

The Sixers were already without Simmons, who left the bubble because of a knee injury that on Monday led to a procedure that removed a “loose body” in his knee, according ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. He’s expected to miss the rest of the 2019-20 season.

That isn’t all the 76ers might be missing.

Harris was questionable with ankle soreness, and Horford has knee soreness.

Phoenix on Monday took advantage of a short-handed Oklahoma City squad that rested Steven Adams, Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nerlens Noel. The Suns won 128-101 thanks to 35 points in three quarters from guard Devin Booker.

Among capable contributors left for the Sixers are second-year starting point guard Shake Milton, bench scorer Alec Burks and rookie wing defender Matisse Thybulle.
