Diamondbacks aiming for World Series again

Like every team, the Arizona Diamondbacks have their sights
set on getting to the World Series.
While that hope usually fades in the doldrums of summer for
some teams, the D-backs will be in it to win it. At least,
D-backs third baseman Ryan Roberts thinks so.
“The expectations last year were to go to the World Series
and we fell a little short and that expectation won’t
change,” he said.
The D-backs fell short in their quest to match the team of
2001 in the first round of the playoffs last year, but
Roberts said the team isn’t changing the plan.
“We’re going to do the same as we did last year,” he said.
“The target on our back might be a little bigger, but that’s
expected and that’s for everybody else to worry about.”
