Phoenix Suns rookie Ty-Shon Alexander’s stint with the Canton Charge ended Saturday on a high note.

The rookie out of Creighton, who is on a two-way contract with Phoenix, scored 30 points in 32 minutes in the regular season finale. He went 7-of-14 from three-point range and 8-of-17 overall in the Charge’s final game of the Disney World bubble in Florida.

Alexander’s seven made threes were one shy of a Canton franchise record.

The Charge didn’t make the eight-team G League playoffs, meaning Alexander is likely to rejoin the Suns coming out of the All-Star break.

The 6-foot-3 guard appeared off the bench in 15 games with Canton after being assigned to the bubble by the Suns. He shot 40.4% overall and 38.8% from deep while taking 5.3 of his 7.3 field goal attempts per game from three-point range.

Alexander also averaged 2.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 turnovers per game with the Charge.

The rookie made three brief appearances for the Suns before he was shipped to Florida for the G League bubble.

On the depth chart for Phoenix, he sits behind All-Star guards Chris Paul and Devin Booker, plus reserves E’Twaun Moore, Cam Payne, Langston Galloway and Jevon Carter.
