Eduardo Escobar is bringing the power to the D-backs’ 2021 campaign.

The third baseman blasted his fourth home run of the season — a two-run shot — in the bottom of the fifth inning Sunday to extend the Arizona Diamondbacks’ lead to six over the Cincinnati Reds.

Sunday’s bomb also marked the fourth consecutive game in which Escobar has recorded a homer.

The last D-back to hit a home run in four consecutive games was Mark Trumbo in 2014.

Escobar has a few more to go to reach the Major League record of eight consecutive games with a home run, held by Ken Griffey Jr., Don Mattingly and Dale Long.

The 32-year-old has turned a corner after a slow start in the first five games of the season. He notched just one hit (a single) over 21 at-bats during that stretch.

In the past four games, including Sunday’s, he is now 7-for-16 with eight RBI and seven runs scored.

The D-backs beat the Reds, 7-0.
