Los Angeles Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will play in Game 6 against the Phoenix Suns, according to Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro.

Caldwell-Pope played in Game 5 after missing Game 4 and being questionable due to a bruised left knee. He went on to only register 15 minutes and take one shot. Coming into Thursday’s Game 6, Caldwell-Pope was a game-time decision.

The 28-year-old shooting guard averaged 9.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game for the Lakers in 67 games (all starts). As the team’s best three-point shooter on volume at a 41.0% mark on 4.4 attempts per game, and the primary defender on Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Caldwell-Pope has an important role for Los Angeles.

He has underwhelmed in the postseason thus far, though, scoring 12 total points in 107 minutes. He’s shooting 4-of-18 from the field and 1-for-13 at three-point range.

Game 6 between the Lakers and Suns is set for a tip-off time of 7:30 p.m. you can hear on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
