Bettors believe in the Milwaukee Bucks to wrap up the NBA Finals on their home floor Tuesday, as they opened as five-point favorites over the Phoenix Suns in Game 6.

Odds have since meandered toward -4.5 for the Bucks, according to some services listed on OddsShark.com.

The total opened at 223 points, the highest of the series after four of the first five games of the series went over.

Milwaukee, of course, has won three games in a row after going down 2-0 before their first game at Fiserv Forum, where they won two in a row to tie the series before a Game 5, 123-119 win in Phoenix on Saturday.

The Suns’ recent history in Milwaukee does not paint a rosy picture for Phoenix fans, either. Phoenix is 2-6 straight up in the past eight games in Milwaukee, while the Bucks are 17-1 in their last 18 home games.

However, Phoenix is 8-4 against the spread in the past 12 games against Milwaukee. Perhaps a desperate team pushes the game’s final score in the Suns’ favor.

Devin Booker has put up consecutive 40-point games in the Finals series and could be leaned on heavily in a must-win game, especially as Chris Paul and the rest of his Suns teammates have been quiet amid their three-game skid.

Meanwhile, the Bucks are coming off the biggest flex yet from their three stars. Giannis Antetokounmpo (32 points), Khris Middleton (29 points) and Jrue Holiday (27 points) carried Milwaukee in Game 5 from a scoring perspective but also accounted for 24 of the team’s 26 assists.
