The Phoenix Suns matched franchise history on Tuesday night at Footprint Center.

With a 104-96 win over the Golden State Warriors, the Suns matched a franchise record of 17 straight victories.

Phoenix was without its biggest star in Devin Booker for the majority of the contest.

The All-Star guard exited the game due to a left hamstring injury that he suffered on a layup attempt halfway through the second quarter and did not return.

Suns center Deandre Ayton, forwards Cam Johnson and Jae Crowder, and point guard Chris Paul picked up the void on a scoring front.

Ayton finished the night as the team’s leading scorer with 24 points on 11-of-19 shooting (57.9%) to go along with 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

Paul was the Suns’ second-leading scorer with 15, while Johnson and Crowder added 14 of their own apiece on a combined 10-of-21 shooting (47.6%), including 7-for-16 from three (43.8%).

Defensively, forward Mikal Bridges put in a performance worthy of the NBA All-Defensive First Team while guarding Warriors PG Steph Curry.

The former MVP was held to just 12 points on 4-of-21 shooting (19%), including 3-of-14 (21.4%) from his trademark three-point shot.
