Phoenix Suns fans have clamored for Devin Booker to be named to the Western Conference All-Star team as a non-replacement player, and this could be the year.

The NBA released its first look at how fans are voting on Thursday that featured Devin Booker at No. 5 in the Western Conference with 338,526 votes and Chris Paul at No. 6 for all guards with 315,912 votes. Deandre Ayton came in at No. 10 for all front court players with 177,115 votes.

The two Phoenix guards ranked behind Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, Ja Morant and Klay Thompson.

It is important to remember that the first 50% of the voting is all from fans, as Thompson has yet to play in 2022.

The second 50% is all from NBA players and media members.

If Phoenix were to get all three players in the game, it would be the first time since 2006-07 that the Suns had three players on the All-Star team when Steve Nash, Amar’e Stoudemire and Shawn Marion were selected.

Paul is looking for his 12th All-Star selection and third straight, Booker for his third and Ayton for his first ever.

Catch all the action as Phoenix hosts the Los Angeles Clippers at 8 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
