Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul and small forward Mikal Bridges are among a crop of players vying for a pair of NBA awards as the regular season comes to a close.

Paul is among 12 finalists for the 2021-22 Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award.

The honor “recognizes the player deemed the best teammate based on selfless play, on- and off-court leadership as a mentor and role model to other NBA players and commitment and dedication to team.”

The other finalists include: Fred VanVleet (Toronto Raptors), Robert Williams (Boston Celtics), Boban Marjanovic (Dallas Mavericks), Jrue Holiday (Milwaukee Bucks), Andre Iguodala (Golden State Warriors), Jaren Jackson Jr. (Memphis Grizzlies), Kevin Love (Cleveland Cavaliers), Rudy Gay (Utah Jazz), DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls), Jeff Green (Denver Nuggets) and Udonis Haslem (Miami Heat).

Six finalists from each conference are determined by a panel of league executives before current NBA players select the winner.

Bridges is one of six finalists for the 2021-22 NBA Sportsmanship Award.

The award is handed out to the player that “best represents the ideals of sportsmanship on the court.”

Bridges is joined by Jackson, Green, Patty Mills (Brooklyn Nets), Bam Adebayo (Heat) and Darius Garland (Cavaliers).

A panel of league executives selected a finalist from each of the NBA’s six divisions.

Like the teammate honor, current players will vote on the winner of the sportsmanship award.

The Suns are back in action against the Warriors on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Tune to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
