The Phoenix Suns will run out their starters on Friday against the Utah Jazz  in Salt Lake City.

Point guard Chris Paul, guard Devin Booker, forward Jae Crowder and center Deandre Ayton all missed the Suns’ last game, a 113-109 loss against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. That contest was on the second night of a back-to-back.

Phoenix’s injury report ahead of Friday only listed forward Dario Saric, who is out for the season.

The Suns have locked down the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and best record in the NBA, which gives them the liberty to rest players ahead of the playoffs.

They can also lessen their starters’ minutes as they did against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. Booker was the only starter to play 30 minutes.

Phoenix’s final game of the regular season is Sunday against the Sacramento Kings. The playoffs begin on April 16, and the Suns will face whichever team escapes the play-in tournament at the No. 8 seed.

Utah is currently the No. 5 seed and therefore a potential second-round opponent for Phoenix should both teams advance.

The Suns and Jazz tip off at 6:30 p.m. Friday night. You can catch the action on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
