Phoenix Suns small forward Mikal Bridges finished fourth in the 2021-22 NBA Sportsmanship Award voting released Friday.

Brooklyn Nets’ Patty Mills took home the award, followed by the Denver Nuggets’ Jeff Green, the Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo, Bridges, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Darius Garland and the Memphis Grizzlies’ Jarren Jackson. Jr.

Mills has received two technical fouls over 820 regular-season games in 13 NBA seasons.

Each team in the league was able to nominate one representative and a panel of league executives selected a finalist from each NBA division, according to the website.

The award is meant to reflect on who has the best sportsmanship on the court during games.

Only one member of the Suns has ever taken home the award, with Grant Hill winning it twice in the 2007-08 and 2009-10 seasons.

Bridges finished with 1,727 total points, including 52 first-place votes, just six behind Mills’ mark of 58.

The Suns’ small forward also finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting this year to Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart.
