Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker is out for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans in New Orleans due to left hamstring tightness, per azcentral’s Duane Rankin.

Booker was originally listed as questionable on the injury report.

Head coach Monty Williams said on Saturday that the is dealing with hamstring tightness and is considered day-to-day, according to Rankin.

Booker scored 14 points in 36 minutes during Phoenix’s 128-117 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.

He also added seven assists, two rebounds and one steal while shooting 29.4% from the field (5-for-17), 25% from three-point range (2-for-8) and 50% from the free throw line shooting (2-for-4).

Williams removed Booker from the game with 1:50 to go and the Suns trailing by eight points.

Booker is slumping lately, shooting just 15-of-47 (31.9%) in his last three games after winning Western Conference Player of the Month for November.

The All-Star guard shot 47.4% from the field last month and 38.4% from beyond the arc.

The injury also comes just as Phoenix was getting healthy in the backcourt, as point guard Chris Paul made his return on Wednesday in the 125-98 loss to the Boston Celtics after a heel issue forced him to miss 14 consecutive games.

The Suns, who have lost three consecutive games, play at the Pelicans again on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. on Arizona Sports 98.7, the Arizona Sports app and ArizonaSports.com.
