The Arizona Cardinals have signed cornerback D’Shawn Jamison to the practice squad, according to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz.

Jamison entered the NFL in 2023 after being signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas. After being waived by the 49ers in August 2023, he was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers. He appeared in 15 games with the Panthers, registering 10 tackles and a pass defensed. He also saw time on special teams as a kickoff returner, returning two kicks for 40 yards.

After being waived by the Panthers ahead of the 2024 NFL season, Jamison signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad. Following the season, he signed a reserve/future contract. After being waived in August 2024, he later re-signed with the Steelers’ practice squad. Jamison appeared in four games last season as a cornerback and special teams returner.

Jamison was waived by the Steelers on Saturday as part of the final roster cuts.

During five seasons at Texas (2018-22), Jamison registered 108 tackles with 17 passes defensed, six interceptions, a forced fumble and a sack. On special teams, Jamison returned 48 punts for 368 yards and a touchdown, while returning 62 kickoffs for 1,435 yards and two touchdowns.
