Sam Leavitt gets rejected by the rim as touchdown celebration goes awry vs. Auburn
The missed dunk was just about the lone lowlight for the former ASU quarterback as he threw for over 380 yards and scored four touchdowns in a win over Auburn.

LSU quarterback and former Sun Devil Sam Leavitt’s flashy celebration didn’t go as planned following a touchdown against Auburn on Saturday.
After a rushing touchdown late in the second quarter to give LSU a 31-10 lead, it was Leavitt’s turn to take part in LSU’s basketball dunk celebration on the sideline, a tradition brought over by first-year Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin. The celebration was previously used under Kiffin during his time as head coach at Ole Miss.
Unfortunately for Leavitt, his windmill dunk attempt was rejected at the rim.

The missed dunk was just about the only lowlight for Leavitt in LSU’s 38-17 win over Auburn, as he completed 32 of 45 passes for 387 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Leavitt is in his first season at LSU after playing his previous two seasons at Arizona State. In his previous seven games with the Tigers, Leavitt has passed for 1,785 yards, 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions, while adding 270 yards on the ground and seven touchdowns.
