Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell was already a household name around the valley, but has quietly became a person that everyone around the NFL is recognizing.

Campbell made his first Pro Bowl last season by posting a 48 tackle and seven sack stat-line in 14 games. Those numbers were also good enough to garner Associated Press All-Pro 2nd team honors.

He has also made some headway into the entertainment business by making a cameo in the television show “The League” last week.

Now, the seven-year veteran is using his local and national notoriety for charitable purposes.

Campbell is holding a contest for every home game in which he will choose a fan winner who represents his number 93 jersey. The winning fan will then choose the charity that Campbell will donate his money to.

We are not sure that Campbell’s number 93 jersey will ever match Larry Fitzgerald’s number 11 in popularity, but his charitable contest is sure to make the defensive end’s jersey a hot seller at the team store.

What’s a cooler prize to win then being apart of a charitable donation?
