When Cam Newton isn’t busy winning football games and brushing off the latest criticism of his “dabbing” dance moves, the Carolina Panthers QB spends his time worrying about more important things — like making sure nearly 900 kids in the Charlotte area would have a nice Thanksgiving meal.

Newton hosted his annual “Cam’s Thanksgiving Jam” on Monday night in Charlotte, inviting children from local Boys and Girls Clubs to join in on the celebration.

During the event, Newton sported an apron as he served up food to his guests and also joined in for a game of musical chairs.

This is his fourth year hosting the Thanksgiving Jam, which is one of many events his foundation, the Cam Newton Foundation, puts on each year.

This comes just a day after Newton was spotted giving five footballs to young fans during the Panthers 44-16 victory over the Redskins.

As for the “dabbing” haters who don’t think he’s a good role model? Newton doesn’t care.

He even hosted a dab contest on-stage before dinner was served.
