Garland, Coyotes agree to terms

The Arizona Coyotes agreed to terms Wednesday with right-winger Conor Garland to a three-year entry level contract.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Garland, 19, currently leads the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in scoring with 21-59-80 in 33 games, and his 80 points are 22 points higher than the next ranked player in the league.
Garland earned two CHL Player of the Week honors this season and has been named one of QMJHL’s three stars of the week on six occasions. He has had one point in 32 of his 33 games this season and notched multiple points in 25 games.
In 204 career games with the Moncton Wildcats, the 5-foot-8 inch, 160-pound Massachusetts native has totaled 91-219-310 and set the single-season points record for Moncton with 35-94-129 in 2014-15.
The Coyotes drafted Garland in the fifth round (123 overall) in the 2015 Entry Draft.
