The Phoenix Suns fired head coach Jeff Hornacek Monday morning after two-and-a-half years on the job.

Here’s a look back at Hornacek’s tenure in the Valley, by the numbers.

16

Hornacek became the 16th head coach in Suns history when he was hired May 28, 2013. He took over for interim Lindsey Hunter, who finished out the 2012-13 season after Alvin Gentry was fired.

.474

Hornacek’s winning percentage in Phoenix. His Suns teams went 101-112 with him on the bench.

.312

The Suns’ winning percentage since shaking up their roster at the trade deadline last February. Phoenix has gone 24-53 since trading Goran Dragic to Miami and Isaiah Thomas to Boston.

.200

Phoenix’s road winning percentage in that same span. The Suns went 8-32 away from Talking Stick Resort Arena and have lost 14 straight road games, tying the second-longest road losing skid in team history.

48-34

The Suns’ surprising record in Hornacek’s first year on the job. Expected to be one of the worst teams in the NBA in 2013-14, Phoenix instead barely missed the playoffs, finishing just one game behind the eighth-seeded Dallas Mavericks for the final Western Conference Playoff spot.

53-78

The Suns’ record since Hornacek’s first season.

8th

Hornacek’s 101 wins place him eighth on the Suns’ all-time coaching victories list behind John MacLeod (579), Cotton Fitzsimmons (341), Mike D’Antoni (253), Paul Westphal (191), Alvin Gentry (158), Danny Ainge (136) and Scott Skiles (116). Hornacek’s overall winning percentage ranks 11th in team history.

6

The Suns’ longest winning streak under Hornacek. Phoenix won six straight from Mar. 19 to Mar. 28 in the 2013-14 season and matched that streak the next year, reeling off six wins in a row from Dec. 17 to Dec. 28.

9

Phoenix’s longest losing streak under Hornacek. It happened this season, from Dec. 20 to Jan. 3 and included an embarrassing defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers (who had one win at the time) and a 20-point blowout loss in Los Angeles to the Lakers, who were just 8-26 prior to the game.
