Suns’ Brandon Knight ends Evan Turner with tomahawk dunk

Brandon Knight has moxie. We learned that when, as a Detroit Piston, he attempted to impede a dunk by Clippers center DeAndre Jordan.

That went poorly.

Now, the universe might have evened the score by giving Knight his own opportunity for a vicious slam.

Knight and the Phoenix Suns were in a tight battle with the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday when Knight crossed forward Al-Farouq Aminu on the right side of the three-point arc and found a clear path to the rim. The only person in his way was the Blazers’ Evan Turner.

Turner was too late.

Knight cocked back the ball and lifted off before the Blazers forward could react.

It would seem Knight has found his hops and explosion after struggling with dings in his first few seasons with the Suns.
