Singing in front of a group of people can be a little frightening.

Singing in front of thousands of screaming fans at a sporting event? That’s on a whole other level.

But the many sets of eyes pinpointed on one Coyotes fan didn’t faze him one bit.

Known as “Coyote-ling,” the hockey team’s in-game reporter Jill Galus selects one lucky fan to continue singing a song on the big screen when the music stops playing.

The lucky contestant was 20-year fan John, and when Galus handed him the microphone, he channeled his inner Rick Astley in a rendition of “Never Gonna Give You Up”.

If John’s day job doesn’t pan out, it seems that he could have a career in producing solid cover songs.
