Diamondbacks players try their hand at dad jokes

The D-backs wished everyone a happy Father’s Day by having their players tell some dad jokes.

The players were amused by the humorous and safe jokes we’ve all heard from our fathers. But, the winner of the best anecdote was catcher John Ryan Murphy’s story of what his dad does when his family goes to restaurants.

A.J. Pollock, Andrew Chafin, Archie Bradley, Daniel Descalso, Alex Avila, Jeff Mathis and Steven Souza Jr. all took part and enjoyed a laugh.
