Chutti the Rhino looking to get back on track with latest Fiesta Bowl pick

Chutti the Rhino made his Fiesta Bowl prediction at the Phoenix Zoo ahead of Thursday's matchup between Ole Miss and Miami. Who did he pick?

Chutti the Rhino made his fifth-ever Fiesta Bowl prediction at the Phoenix Zoo ahead of Thursday’s matchup between Ole Miss and Miami, with the Rebels earning his favor.

Boxes with both teams’ logos were placed in Chutti’s enclosure, and whichever box he interacted with — or tore apart — the least was deemed his winner.

After starting his prediction career 0-2, Chutti thought he found something with his pick after the 2023 season, choosing Oregon to beat Liberty.

However, the bad beats returned the following year when the rhino had Boise State beating Penn State. That was the first time Chutti had picked an upset.

He wasn’t going to be deterred by one upset not panning out, as he picked Ole Miss (3.5-point underdogs) despite the chaos surrounding its coaching staff, a few of whom are following former head coach Lane Kiffin to LSU.

A correct prediction for this year’s game would put Chutti at .500 in Fiesta Bowls that were part of the College Football Playoff bracket.

Chutti is one of about 4,000 greater one-horned rhinos out there after a population boom from just 200 last century, and he’s hoping his picks get on track for all of rhino-kind. The species is supposed to be one of the more intelligent ones out there, after all.

The haters have been talking and thanks to the especially strong hearing he has, Chutti has heard the noise all the way at the Phoenix Zoo.

Personally, I feel it's too bad either of these teams has to lose tomorrow night. It's been a long dry spell to championship contention for both (especially Mississippi). As long a University of Nike doesn't win it all, I'll be good with which ever of the other three wins.
