High school defensive tackle intercepts QB spike

Located about an hour north of Green Bay with a population of less than 1,400, you’ve probably never heard of Gillett, Wisconsin.

You also probably don’t care that Gillett High School’s football team played Crivitz High School on Friday.

But the small town’s Friday night lights were the stage for one of the most unexpected high school football highlights we’ve seen.

As the clock was winding down, Crivitz went to spike the ball…but it was intercepted.

You read that right.

Brian Zahn, a senior defensive tackle from Gillett High School, anticipated the spike and dove over the Crivitz offensive line and somehow intercepted the spike.
