Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham was quite literally lost for words when FOX’s Jen Hale tried to ask him about the emotions hitting after ASU upset then-No. 7 Texas Tech.
“Unreal, crazy,” he said Saturday, before running off to celebrate.
We now know that juice didn’t leave once the head coach was in the locker room. Running back Kyson Brown, who was injured for the matchup, posted a video of ASU head coach dropping to the floor and doing the worm to hype up his players fresh off the field.
Kenny Dillingham sarcastically suggested a viral TikTok video posted by RB Kyson Brown of the head coach doing the WORM was AI generated.
Dillingham has been caught doing the worm before.

“Shouldn’t have posted a video, you’re not supposed videos in our locker room,” Dillingham said of Brown before playing off the video as fake. “Nowadays, even the video he posted, that wasn’t even me. That was AI. I don’t know. That would be awesome if I could do the worm like that. That’d be pretty cool. I’m not quite that cool. But AI makes me look cool.”
“But I do think viral moments are good for a brand and they’re good for a culture with your team as long as you can respond to ’em and know that once today hits, it’s over, nobody cares anymore.”
The execution made us wonder if the video of Dillingham was AI-generated or maybe from a past game.
The sarcastic response made us think it’s very real.
ASU players were indeed wearing throwback uniforms in the background and Dillingham’s black hoodie matched with the threads of the day.
And upon further research, Dillingham has been caught doing the worm before.
Back in 2019, former Auburn player Kilian Zierer posted “COMMITTING TO AUBURN” with a video of Dillingham, who was then the offensive coordinator, doing the worm.
