The New York Mets raise an apple every time they hit a home run at Citi Field, but Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud got the jump on the apple in Saturday's game 1 of the NLCS against the Chicago Cubs.

d’Arnaud’s homer hit the apple before it could even raise and the Mets decided to have fun with it. On Sunday, the Mets put two bandages shaped in an “X” on the apple where d’Arnaud’s home run struck it.
