For those who haven’t seen it, Kingpin is quite simply one of the funniest movies ever.

It centers around a washed-up, one-handed bowler (Woody Harrelson) who stumbles across an Amish prodigy (Randy Quaid). The two trek across the country from Pennsylvania to Reno, Nevada for a national winner-take-all $1 million tournament with the pair hustling unsuspecting bowling victims the whole way.

Since the movie’s pivotal scenes take place in Reno, the baseball team in town is paying tribute. The Reno Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Diamondbacks is hosting Tribute to Kingpin Night at the ballpark Saturday evening. The team will wear bowling-themed jerseys that serve as a tip of the cap to Bill Murray’s character, the antagonistic “Big Ern” McCracken.

Sounds like a good time.

Will there be a cow-milking contest? It'll take 'em while to get 'er goin.' Sure is a stubborn one.
