There’s been quite the back-and-forth between the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Kyler Murray’s agent Erik Burkhardt.

Whether it’s cryptic tweets directed at the organization or statements in all caps, bolded words and single spacing, the agent hasn’t been shy on Murray’s desire for a contract extension this offseason.

Instead, a contract proposal has been pulled and the two sides remain at an impasse.

Despite the optics, general manager Steve Keim believes a deal will get done in the summer — following along the lines of other quarterbacks that received new deals after their third year.

He also wouldn’t mind going toe-to-toe with Burkhardt in a literal cage match, the GM told the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday.

“I have a good relationship with his agent, Erik Burkhardt. … Pat, as big of a wrestling fan as I am — and congrats on WrestleMania — I was thinking maybe you should set up a cage match between me and Burkhardt,” Keim said.

“Yes!” McAfee responded. “I don’t know what the letter will look like that’ll he write afterwards from the hospital but I have a feeling you will beat the (expletive) out of him.”
