Diamondbacks trade pitching prospect Ryan Burr to White Sox
The Arizona Diamondbacks made a minor trade Friday, dealing pitching prospect Ryan Burr to the Chicago White Sox in return for international signing bonus pool money.

The Arizona Diamondbacks made a minor trade Friday, dealing pitching prospect Ryan Burr to the Chicago White Sox in return for international signing bonus pool money.

Per Baseball America, teams are given a bonus pool ranging from $4.75 million to $5.75 million for the international signing period. Teams are allowed to use that space as an asset and trade all of their space, while teams can acquire up to 75 percent of their original pool space.
The 23-year-old right-handed Burr was ranked as the 22nd best prospect for Arizona by MLB.com. He’s been pitching for Class A Visalia and Class A Kane County, going 2-2 with a 1.89 ERA in 39 appearances.
The former Arizona State Sun Devil was picked in the fifth round of the 2015 first-year player draft.

Scooby Wright falls into that category for me as well. Even though he was a Wildcat I root hard for him. Like what i've seen for him on the Cards.
I know it was all in good fun. As far as hoops is concerned Harden is all we have lol Eddie House was my personal fave. I agree Gronk was built to party in Tempe.
Well said Sarge and I gave Pedroia huge props. The other stuff is all tongue-in-cheek from me. What a player does in the pros has zero to do with their college. It's nice to say some pro went to your school, but by no means a measurement of your school's "success". Would it be nice if UofA hoops players dominated the NBA, yes. Does it help asu's continued ineptitude at hoops or hurt the UofA in recruiting or performance? Obviously not.
I liked Tui's comment that Gronk should've gone to asu because he's such a douche. ;) I think he's pretty entertaining, but I'm a douche too...
