Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. logged an RBI as he began his rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on Monday.

In the bottom of the fourth, Gurriel recorded a two-out RBI single to extend the ACL D-backs’ lead to 4-2 over the ACL Colorado Rockies.

That was the left fielder’s only time reaching base on Monday, with Gurriel going 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts.

After working his way back from a torn ACL suffered last year, Gurriel went back on the 10-day injured list on May 23 due to a left hamstring strain.
