The missed games continue to stack up for Suns’ Grayson Allen, as a right knee injury will keep him out of Phoenix’s game on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers (18-16).
He was officially listed as doubtful for the contest on the NBA’s Tuesday injury report and has since been ruled out.
It would mark Allen’s seventh consecutive absence with the injury.
The 6-foot-3 veteran guard has averaged 16.3 points (43.1% shooting), 2.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists in his 18 games played.
Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro said Tuesday that Allen is in line to suit up again in a “matter of days,” with the following three-game stretch as his likely spot for a return. The stretch includes home games against the Sacramento Kings and Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday and Sunday, respectively, and finishes with the Houston Rockets on the road Monday.
Ryan Dunn was listed as questionable with a right knee contusion after missing the past two games with right knee soreness, but he will be available to play.
He registered nine points and eight rebounds in his most recent 21 minutes that came on Friday in a win versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
Jalen Green, who was fined for profanity used in a postgame interview at Washington on Monday, remains out with a right hamstring strain. His return timeline was pushed back two to three weeks last Monday.
Jordan Goodwin is available and will still be sporting a face mask due to a jaw sprain.
Phoenix (19-13) is going for five straight wins in Cleveland on Wednesday.
Cavaliers injury report vs. Suns
Shooting guard Sam Merrill was listed as probable with left hip soreness. Merrill previously missed 14 games this season due to a hand injury, which he returned from last Tuesday against the Pelicans.
He had 22 points on 7-for-12 shooting, six rebounds and seven assists against New Orleans and has averaged 13.6 points in 15 game appearances.
Larry Nance Jr. remains out with a right calf strain and is considered week-to-week after the team announced at the end of November that he would miss as much as four weeks. He has started in just two of 16 games and is averaging a career-low 3.6 points.
Forward Max Strus had left foot surgery in August and doesn’t yet have a projected timetable for a return this season.
Two-way players Chris Livingston and Luke Travers are out for G League assignment.

Trade Grayson. Decent value but hope a team wants to take the injury to production ratio.
Monday night the Cavs defeated a fully healthy Spurs team by 12 on the Spurs home court. Cavs were led by Jarrett Allen who scored 27 & grabbed 10 rebounds. Mobley added 16/7 and three blocked shots. Mitchell and Garland struggled against the Spurs backcourt but still managed a combined 25/18 dimes and 4 steals. Cavs bench is lacking and they are a small team other than the 6'-11" Mobley at PF.
Suns need Mark Williams and good minutes from Rasheer Fleming.
Grayson needs to start on the ozempic and get some relief for those overloaded knees.
