Bradley Beal available vs. Lakers, Grayson Allen off Suns’ injury report

Starting Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal remained questionable to play Monday against the Los Angeles Lakers with an elbow issue going into gameday. After he missed the team’s Saturday win against the Dallas Mavericks, Beal was deemed good to go before the opening tip on Monday.

His absence would have likely push rookie Ryan Dunn into the starting lineup once again, but Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro reported Beal should play barring any setbacks pregame.

Grayson Allen was additionally not listed on the Suns’ side of the injury report ahead of their matchup against the Lakers at Footprint Center. He was present at the team’s shootaround on Monday morning.

Allen missed the win against Dallas at home for personal reasons. It was his second missed game in a row as he and his wife were expecting to welcome their first child.

The Suns listed Josh Okogie (hamstring) as out, while two-way players TyTy Washington and Jalen Bridges will not be active.

No surprises on Lakers’ injury report for Suns game

Los Angeles will be without rotation pieces Jarred Vanderbilt and big man Christian Wood as they continue to recover from offseason surgeries. They both missed the Lakers’ win over the Suns on Friday in California.

Former Arizona Wildcats center Christian Koloko, who did not play last season with a blood clot issue and was waived by the Toronto Raptors, is also out due to reconditioning for his hopeful return to NBA action.
