Dillon Brooks fined $35K by NBA for inappropriate language following Timberwolves game

Dillon Brooks was fined $35,000 by the NBA for inappropriate language in the Suns win over the Timberwolves on Friday.

Dillon Brooks was fined $35,000 by the NBA for inappropriate language in the Phoenix Suns’ 114-113 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.

The incident occurred following the conclusion of the game.

This marks the second time Brooks has been fined by the NBA this season. He was previously fined $25,000 for lewd gesture in the Suns’ game against the Indiana Pacers on Nov. 13.

The announcement was made by former Suns GM James Jones, who is now the executive vice president and head of basketball operations for the NBA.

Brooks and the Suns (10-6) are back in action on Sunday as they host the San Antonio Spurs at Mortgage Matchup Center.

Tipoff is at 6 p.m. and can be listened to on ESPN 620 AM and the Arizona Sports app.
