Suns’ Jordan Goodwin ruled out from playoff game vs. Thunder with calf soreness

Jordan Goodwin exited with left calf soreness and did not return during the Suns’ 119-84 loss in Game 1 of Phoenix’s first-round playoff matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
Goodwin exited the game with 6:54 remaining in the second quarter and went to the locker room before being ruled out at the half. He scored two points in five minutes played, dealing with early foul trouble matched up against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Entering Sunday’s game, Goodwin was coming off a strong performance in Friday’s play-in game against the Golden State Warriors, scoring 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting, grabbing nine rebounds with six steals and two assists in the Suns’ 111-96 win.
Goodwin’s injury came as the Suns were still without center Mark Williams, who was ruled out with left foot soreness. Grayson Allen, who was available Sunday after being questionable with a left hamstring strain, did not play.

Seven minutes into the game and Dillon is hit with a flagrant foul.
Dillon, Jalen and Devin thought they were playing in the BIG 3 league. They took a combined 55 of the Suns 83 shots. Dillon led the way going 6 of 22 and Jalen 6 of 16.
Oso scoreless in 26 minutes.
SGA with 15 of his 25 at the free-throw line.
This is exactly whom I thought the Suns would become with all three playing together.
I expect rookies to make mistakes but Dunn Oso and Royce have no excuses and messed up just as much if not more.
I’m so tired of Brooks (6-22); the guy actually thinks he can shoot. ... The ex-Rockets teammates went 12-38.
Oso is a waste; if Ott doesn’t come to this realization relatively soon, Oso will cost him his job.
Let’s hope Fleming and Maluach can take that leap entering year 2; otherwise, this team is going to be swimming in mediocrity (in the lottery fringes) for another decade.
