NBA world reacts to Phoenix Suns’ Earl Watson firing

First, it was the tweet from Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe.

I Dont wanna be here

Shortly after, 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s own John Gambadoro reported that the Suns were meeting with head coach Earl Watson for reasons unclear.

Not thirty minutes later, the Wojbomb was dropped, reporting Watson was let go.

And a flood of reactions filled Twitter.

Yikes. https://t.co/2JlKKnYMZj

Last season was the first in a half-century that saw no NBA coach fired. This season it took five days for Earl Watson to be canned in PHX.

Earl Watson fired after 3 games with the Suns………And Jim Harbaugh is 1-4 against his rivals and 0-7 in big games at #Michigan pic.twitter.com/vx6M9YavSW

Mike Brown is no longer the fastest head coach to get canned in an NBA season. #Suns

— Spencer Davies (@SpinDavies) October 22, 2017

I believe Earl Watson getting canned after three games into year is the fastest firing of a head coach in NBA history since the merger.

Should a coach be held responsible for losing by 40+ in 2/3 games? What y'all think ?

Following the blowout loss the Arizona Cardinals suffered in London, quarterback Carson Palmer going down with a broken arm and the latest news out of Suns’ camp, one thing is for sure; It was a rough Sunday in Arizona.
