ASU men’s basketball revises TV schedule for 2025-26

Three of Arizona State’s men’s basketball games have seen tip-off time and TV network adjustments.
The Sun Devils’ Jan. 3 game vs. Colorado will now tip at 3 p.m. on ESPN2. It was originally slated for a noon tip on TNT. ASU’s matchup vs. Arizona on Jan. 31 is now scheduled for a noon start on TNT. It was originally set to begin at 4 p.m. on ESPN2. Lastly, the game at Colorado on Feb. 7 will now tip at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2. It was originally scheduled at noon on TNT.
Arizona State initially revealed its 2025-26 men’s basketball TV schedule in October with highlights including an early visit to face BYU and potential No. 1 pick A.J. Dybantsa on Jan. 7 on Peacock.
ASU’s last two regular-season games are against two potential top 25 opponents and airing on FS1: Kansas visits Tempe on March 3 and Arizona State closes out the regular season on March 7 at Iowa State.
The Sun Devils also visit rival Arizona on Jan. 14 on FS1 and host the Wildcats on Jan. 31 on ESPN 2.
Their nonconference season includes hosting Gonzaga on ESPN 2, a visit to UCLA on FS1 and a tournament stay at the Maui Invitational.
The Gonzaga matchup is a follow-up after the Sun Devils lost 88-80 to the then-No. 6 team in the nation last year. The Bulldogs and Bruins are expected to be ranked to start this coming season, and Texas — ASU’s first matchup in the Maui Invitational — could have a case.

Must miss TV.
Maybe 3-8 nonconference, maybe 2 wins in conference? "... land another gig.." Where? Who? He doesn't win consistently, can recruit but can't keep talent, can coach but is horrible at conforming his system to talent, and does not make adjustments in game. Has an awful courtside manner and has lost games due to his unwarranted abuse of Officials. Threw a temper tantrum and couldn't shake hands after a loss cause he was out of control. And it was his kid (the gambler) that head butted the U of A kid. Like most bullies, he folds when the pressure is on. Great player, bad coach. Most of all? Had a kid shaving points but kept him on the team until Feb until all hope was lost. He either knew and disregarded or didn't know and should have. Forget the first 9 so so years, the gambling thing will prevent him from getting a job for 2 years.
Last season of the Bobby "Dayton" era. Always start-off hot, beat teams like Kansas, only to fade when conference play comes, and a trip to Ohio. Now, ya factor in the gambling, the arena, and no contract, and this is a go through the motions to try and land another gig season for Hurley. McKale North is going to be nuts come January.
